Nintendo developed and published the Mario Kart 8 kart racing game for the Wii U in May 2014. It preserves the gameplay mechanics from the Mario Kart series, where players control Mario franchise characters while driving karts and gather various items to hinder opponents or gain an advantage.
As soon as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Wave 2 DLC tracks are released, we might learn which courses Wave 3 might contain. Reddit data miners have discovered fragments of music recordings in the game’s files.
These files point to eight additional courses, each corresponding to a different track from different Mario Kart games. The following looks to be the order of the upcoming eight tracks, in combination with a prior leak that revealed prefixes:

Take this leak with the necessary grain of salt, as Nintendo has not officially confirmed it as of the time of writing. Even if genuine, it sounds like a great variety that will please Mario Kart enthusiasts.
As anticipated, there won’t be much Wave 3 news. The two new cups, however, are anticipated to be named Rock Cup and Moon Cup. We are expected to see maps from consoles like the GameCube, Wii, NintendoDS, and 3DS based on the last two wave releases. Mario Kart 8 Wave 3 DLC Release Date Prediction
Nintendo has not yet announced a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 3 release date. In March of this year, the first batch of tunes showed up. Three months later, on this past Thursday, Wave 2 debuted. Given that Nintendo stated that the booster pack would be available until the end of 2023, this provides a general timeline for the release of Wave 3. Our forecast shows Wave 3 will be playable sometime in December 2022 or January 2023. Waves 1 and 2 were separated by 5 months, so if this trend holds, the next wave might appear as early as the holidays.
Even before Wave 2 was released on Wave 3, there were numerous forecasts, but nothing has yet been verified.
