With permanent Android 14 and One UI 6.0 updates for the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup. The Galaxy S23 One UI 6.0 was initially available to users in some countries as an update. It is now permanently rolling out globally with new updates for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra 2024.

Samsung S23 Ultra Android 14 Review
As part of the One UI 6 update based on Android 14, Samsung introduced a redesigned quick settings panel and a stylish new media player in the notification area. While you still get circular toggles for various settings, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth buttons are larger and at the top of the screen.
You can access quick settings by swiping down from the top right corner of the smartphone. When swiping from the top left, the notification area appears. Most stock apps have also been improved, while the Gallery app has new photo editing features and controls. It will provide a good quality video content creator.
Under the hood, the Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 series adds improvements to the Gallery app. It supports preset widgets with configurations that can be added to any button on the home screen. Samsung has introduced optimizations on the home screen and app drawer, as well as the ability to customize the clock’s position on the lock screen.

However, Samsung’s support page suggests that the Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 series will be available “soon” in the US. Android 14 firmware will soon be available to update the new software manually. Once the update is released in your country, you can download the stable update by tapping the Download and Install option in the Software Update section of your device settings.
