With permanent Android 14 and One UI 6.0 updates for the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup. The Galaxy S23 One UI 6.0 was initially available to users in some countries as an update. It is now permanently rolling out globally with new updates for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra 2024.

Under the hood, the Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 series adds improvements to the Gallery app. It supports preset widgets with configurations that can be added to any button on the home screen. However, Samsung’s support page suggests that the Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 series will be available “soon” in the US. Android 14 firmware will soon be available to update the new software manually. Once the update is released in your country, you can download the stable update by tapping the Download and Install option in the Software Update section of your device settings.
