The next Samsung Unpacked event will be on July 10, 2024. As we prepare for this Unpacked event, there is a strong indication that the South Korean-based phone maker is planning a big release for the Galaxy Watch 7, as we saw during the previous Samsung Watch 6.
The upcoming Galaxy Watch is expected to launch in three variants: Samsung Watch 7, Watch 7 Pro and Watch 7 Classic. Rumors also suggest that the watch could be equipped with the upcoming Exynos W940 chip and some new health and AI features.
According to a recent leak, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will have a chipset with five CPU cores and a 3nm fabrication process.

Galaxy Watch 7 Performance:
Reports have revealed that the Galaxy Watch 7 could be Samsung’s first device with a 3nm Exynos chip and is claimed to offer a 20 percent power efficiency and performance boost over the Galaxy Watch 6. The base storage capacity is said to be bumped from 16GB to 32GB capacity.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra may feature a larger 47mm display size compared to the 40mm and 44mm sizes. Watch Ultra is expected to feature a titanium (Grade 4) chassis and sapphire crystal glass display. The Galaxy Watch Ultra may feature a new Quick Button to perform certain tasks and boast 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
The Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra may feature MIL-STD-810H certification for durability. The Ultra variant may have 10ATM+ IP68 dust and water resistance while the Watch 7 may only have 5ATM+ IP68 protection.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 may come in a cellular-only model while the Ultra may be available in cellular and Bluetooth-only models. L1+L5 will have dual-frequency GPS support. The FCC listing also shows that there will be Wi-Fi and optional LTE connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Battery:
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch FE appear in FCC certification. The former may pack a 590mAh battery, while the Watch 7 may have 578mAh (40mm) and 425mAh (44mm) cells respectively. It revealed there will be 15W and 5W wireless charging support respectively. It can offer 50 percent faster charging than the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 6 lineup, which came with 10W charging speeds.

Along with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable flagship phones, the Galaxy Watch 7 series is definitely coming our way in the summer of 2024.
