Destiny 2 Update 7.3.6: Into the Light start time and release date! Destiny 2 players have a significant update to look forward to. Bungie will drop the Into the Light content expansion at 10 AM PDT or 1 AM EDT today, Tuesday, April 9, 2024. This update will bridge the gap between the Season of the Wish patch that dropped last year and the upcoming Destiny 2 Update Final Shape.
What Time Does Destiny 2 Light Release?
Destiny 2 Update: Into the Light is playable after a period of maintenance at the following times:
- 6 p.m. BST for the U.K.
- 10 p.m. PDT for the West Coast of North America
- 1 p.m. EDT for the East Coast of North America
- 2 a.m. JST on April 10 for Tokyo
- 7 p.m. CEST for Western Europe/Paris
What Time Does Destiny 2 Go Offline?
Destiny 2 Update servers will be offline for over five hours to prepare for the Into the Light update. Downtime begins at the following times in your Destiny 2 time zone:
- 7:45 a.m. EDT for the East Coast of North America
- 4:45 a.m. PDT for the West Coast of North America
- 12:45 p.m. BST for the U.K.
- 8:45 p.m. JST for Tokyo
- 1:45 p.m. CEST for Western Europe/Paris
After downloading Destiny 2 Update 7.3.6, which will also roll out from the above times, you can begin playing the Destiny 2 update. That said, no maintenance will continue for another two hours. Bungie warns you that you “may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues.”
