Twin Scroll Turbocharger
The new twin-scroll turbocharger, including an electronically regulated wastegate and dual-fuel system that utilizes both port and direct injection, are two features of the base 2.3-litre EcoBoost. The beloved Coyote engine from Ford’s fourth generation, the 5.0-litre V-8, now has a double intake system fed by apertures along both sides of the bigger front grille.

The all-new 2024 Ford Mustang S650 is set to arrive in the summer of 2024, and pricing has finally been revealed. Based on past and existing Mustang MSRPs, initial estimates put the cost of a base 2024 Ford Mustang S650 Price without additional package options at around $30,000 US Dollars.

Ford claims that this is the most “athletic” Mustang yet, even though the integral-link rear and front strut suspensions are virtually the same, except for additional links on vehicles with 19-inch wheels. According to Eddie Kahn, vehicle engineering manager, the weight of this new Mustang should be similar to that of the S550. The S550’s already good steering feel is believed to be enhanced with a revised steering rack with a quicker ratio (15.5:1 vs 16:1) and stiffer mounting points.
According to Krenz, the difference between the steering of this generation and the one before it may be felt after just 15 seconds. For both the EcoBoost and GT, the Performance Pack is also back. It includes strut-tower bracing, a Torsen Limited-Slip Differential, staggered tyres, larger Brembo brakes, and optional MagneRide dampers. Notably, the GT Performance Pack has enormous four-piston brakes in the back and six-piston Brembo brakes up front.

Electronic Drift Brake
Like many contemporary vehicles, the Mustang has replaced its mechanical parking brake with an electrical switch. However, depending on how far the driver pulls the handle, some S650 models have an “Electronic Drift Brake” that gradually locks up the rear wheels alone.
The EDB, created with drifting icon Vaughn Gittin Jr., resembles a small, conventional parking brake. Still, buyers can remove the side bolts to install a vertical handle. Despite Ford opting for a more “edgier” overall style, the design has some common weak areas that make it feel recognizable.
The most significant modifications are at the ends of the vehicle, with new and distinctive front fascias for both EcoBoost and GT variants, and at the back, where a sharp, angular taillight design and the removal of the black plastic panel connecting the two can be seen. The triple-segment front and rear lights and U-shaped grille are present and properly account for Mustang trademarks.
2024 Ford Mustang S650 Interior
The S650 Mustang’s interior is dominated by its sizable screens for the infotainment system and gauge cluster. Higher-trim variants merge both screens into a single housing, whereas base models have separate screens. The gauge cluster can be set up in various ways, including a Fox-body display, as expected.
The infotainment system is a variation of Ford’s Sync4. However, there is a drive-mode menu particular to the Mustang that Unreal Engine, a popular game engine, powers. Pricing won’t be released until the 2024 Mustang goes on sale, probably in 2019. It’s an interesting time for American performance automobiles that the new Mustang gets released.
