The car also features an adaptive suspension and a heat pump to warm the interior. The EPA estimates the GTX’s range at 250 miles when used in rear-drive mode. With its fast charging capabilities, the ID.4 GTX can reach a speed of 180 km/h (120 mph).

New Volkswagen ID.4 GTX will have an additional front-mounted electric motor with a 201-hp permanent-magnet motor. Up front, there will be a lower-powered asynchronous motor.
