How Do I Make Money on G2?
Step 1: First, select the type of software you want to review.
A field must be selected to show the software relevant to it that you wish to review. Many options include Advertising, E-Commerce, Finance & Accounting, HR, Sales, IT, Marketing, etc. If none of these fields describe the software you will review, click “Other.”
Step 2: You need to log in/sign up to G2 to start writing reviews. A list of software selected for writing will be shown. Each will have a “Review” button next to it. Clicking on Review will open a login/sign-up window.
Click on “Continue to login” on the displayed display and then click on “Create new account.” You can use your email, Google, or LinkedIn to sign up. However, it is recommended that you sign up with LinkedIn so that your bio data can be synced.
However, if you plan to sign up with Google or by email, you should note that public domain email addresses such as gmail.com are not allowed. You’ll need to sign up with a business email address (even a custom domain will do).
Step 3: Write the software review and answer a few simple questions.
These common questions may include:
“On a scale of 1 to 10, how likely are you to recommend [the software] to a friend?”
It will follow the survey pattern. You will finally be asked to provide a brief review in a textbox. After you complete the Review, it will be sent for approval. When your Review is complete, you can share your work on LinkedIn.
How much can I earn, and how will I get paid?
If you are a regular reviewer, you sometimes pay with Amazon or other gift cards. At one time, gift cards can cost $5 to $50. Many people earn about $200-$500 per month, so it is a reliable source of income for people in poor countries. Also, it can serve as a nice side income for the world’s rich nations.
