Apple 2024 Pushes MacBook Pro 14: Price, Full Specs & Review

Apple pushes MacBook ProIt has been eagerly awaited for the new MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch variants. The well-liked original models included the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Since the M2 is already available, customers anticipate Apple will update these versions with the M2 family’s enhanced CPUs, most likely the M2 Pro and M2 Max, as we near the end of the year. We’re learning more and more about Apple’s impending MacBook Pros, allegedly planned to ship by the end of the year.

The new, updated model with Apple’s M2 silicon appears to be coming in the first half of 2023 rather than before the year’s end. According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the M2 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros will most likely launch in the year’s first quarter.

It is probable that they will be revealed between early February and early March. Gurman adds that the macOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3 releases will coincide with the arrival of the laptops.

Apple unveiled a new iPad, iPad Pros, and an upgraded Apple TV 4K. The second-generation AirPods Pro, the Apple Watch Series 8 and Watch Ultra, and the latest iPhone 14 models were all unveiled a month earlier. The company has had a busy year since expanding its product lineup. With more options, some people think this is good, but others might argue otherwise. Apple may upset current customers as it expands to other items while attracting new ones.

Apple Pushes MacBook Pro 14 2024 Specifications

Depending on your configuration, Mark Gurman (via Bloomberg) predicts that an M2 Pro or M2 Max CPU will power the upcoming MacBook Pro.

Rumours suggest that the M2 Max will come with up to 12 CPU cores (up from 10) and 38 GPU cores (up from 32). Although we don’t know the M2 Pro’s exact specifications, we anticipate improving the processor and graphics capabilities.

Apple Pushes MacBook Pro 14 Design

We don’t anticipate any design changes when the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are updated. Apple recently updated its appearance by introducing the M1 Pro and M1 Max devices in 2021. The company has frequently stuck with the same style for several years.

Apple’s aluminium unibody design is still in use, but it has been modified to be flatter and less curved at the bottom. The devices have a Force Touch Trackpad that is quite large: an all-black keyboard and two speaker grilles on either side of the keyboard.

Mini-LED displays with ProMotion technology, thin 3.5mm bezels at the top and bottom of the display. A notch that houses the 1080p webcam is a feature of the most recent MacBook Pro models.

Possible Features

Apple is developing OLED screens for future gadgets, including MacBook Pro iterations. Some rumours said Apple might release OLED panels as early as 2022. However, more current reports claim OLED technology won’t be available until 2024, making the 2023 upgrade appear unlikely.

Additionally, there have been rumours that Apple is working on Face ID for the Mac. The more expensive MacBook Pro models would be ideal candidates for the technology. However, no specific rumours suggest that Face ID will be added to the Mac with the MacBook Pro refresh.

Apple Pushes MacBook Pro 14 Price

Prices have not yet been disclosed. The next generation of MacBook Pro notebooks may merely receive a processor upgrade. We anticipate that the price points will not change. Currently, the least expensive 14-inch MacBook Pro costs $1999/£1899, and the least expensive 16-inch MacBook Pro is $2499/£2399.
